• Coordinator - Camp Administration and Insight: Headfirst Professional Sports Camps - Residential Experience: 2019-2019

  • The Position:

    The Coordinator of Camp Administration and Insight at Headfirst Professional Sports Camps Residential Experience is responsible for the customer service and administrative tasks necessary to run a top-quality camp. This Coordinator must be a detail-oriented project manager that maintains complete and accurate camp records. They must be a dedicated and composed professional who can be a representative of Headfirst Professional Sports Camps for families, communicating effectively both verbally and in writing. This program will offer three weeks of Headfirst Professional Sports Camp curriculum through four of our Professional Sports Camps partners. Our residential team will travel to Chicago, Washington D.C and Boston, over this three week period to operate this once in a lifetime residential experience. With this being a residential position, we ask that our Coordinator of Camp Administration and Insight live on site at each of our partner facilities from July 9th – July 26th. We offer room and board, transportation to each new location, meals, and competitive salary.

    The Work:

    • Administrate Camp. As the backbone of our camp, nothing goes on that you do not know about. Working as a liaison between HQ and site, you will be responsible for the oversight and management of camper check-in/out – logging, reporting, and resolving any and all questions or issues that arise.
    • Provide Insight. We are entrusted with the care of our family’s children and we don’t take that lightly. Residential camp is a major step in the development of our campers and by managing the camper mail and photo sharing process, as well as other personal touches we take to keep our campers connected to home, you are responsible for shedding the light on what our campers are doing each day.
    • Build Relationships. You serve as the main point of contact for anyone that steps foot on site. Working with campers and their families - you will find solutions, ease concerns, and strengthen relationships by working with HQ to make phone calls and send emails to ensure every detail is accounted for.
    • Handle the Curveballs. At Headfirst we believe obstacles are temporary and embrace any challenge as an opportunity to improve. As a leader on this team, you will have to quickly think on your feet and deviate from your plan while always keeping camper safety as the number one priority.

    The Requirements:

    • About You:
      • At least 18 years of age.
      • High school degree or equivalent educational experience.
      • Minimum of one (1) year of experience teaching or working with children.
      • CPR/First Aid Certification, or ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification prior to start of camp.
      • Preferred: Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Dropbox, iPads, and photography.
