The Boston Red Sox Baseball Camps Site Leader will work on-site at each of our camp locations throughout the summer and will be the role model for all campers and staff – showcasing unparalleled levels of dedication, integrity, and professionalism within the Headfirst Professional Sports Camps community. The Site Leader must always prioritize operating a safe and secure camp, taking personal responsibility for the physical and emotional well-being of every program participant. The Site Leader role requires the ability to not only coach your staff up, but also provide constructive feedback while working closely with the Headfirst Professional Sports Camps headquarters team to ensure that each ballplayer and team member on-site has a safe, enjoyable, and enriching experience.

Reporting to the Site Leader, the Camp & Safety Coordinator at Boston Red Sox Baseball Camps works closely with fellow on-site leadership and HQ staff to organize and execute on the customer service and administrative tasks necessary to run an award-winning camp. The Camp & Safety Coordinator oversees and ensures the day-to-day safety of all program participants; safety is Headfirst Professional Sports Camps’ foremost concern, and the Camp & Safety Coordinator must always prioritize safety above all else. Finally, the Camp & Safety Coordinator acts as the on-site representative of the Talent Department – managing staff timecards while addressing any staff questions or concerns.

Reporting to the Site Leader, the Facilities Coordinator at Boston Red Sox Baseball Camps acts as the epicenter of successful camp operations, spending each camp day on the move as they ensure all camp programs and activities are prepared for ballplayers. The Facilities Coordinator must execute a smooth and efficient operation of the site so that ballplayers can get the most out of their camp experience while being able to spot and resolve issues before they arise. The Facilities Coordinator’s duties are physically rigorous, and they must possess a tenacious work ethic, strong organizational skills, and a positive attitude.

Reporting to the Site Leader, a Coach at Boston Red Sox Baseball Camps is responsible for the safety, enjoyment, and development of every ballplayer under their care. Our Coaches provide their ballplayers with guidance and instruction throughout the camp day, always encouraging a respectful and positive atmosphere so that each player experiences success while at camp. Coaches must possess the ability to communicate with a variety of ages, interest, and skill levels as well as have an enthusiasm for baseball and/or softball while approaching each day and its unique challenges with energy, patience, and a sense of humor.

Reporting to the Site Leader, a Division Lead Coach at Boston Red Sox Baseball Camps manages divisional staff and curriculum while ensuring the safety, enjoyment, and well-being of every ballplayer.  A Division Lead Coach is a master of the Headfirst Professional Sports Camp curriculum, who can facilitate and implement this curriculum with attention to detail and an emphasis on consistent and enriching instruction. A Division Lead Coach is a thoughtful, empathetic, and approachable leader who holds their divisional team to the same high standards to which they hold themselves. Finally, a Division Lead Coach is a friendly customer experience representative who finds innovative ways to provide families with personalized feedback on their ballplayers.

Our Junior Coaches provide their ballplayers with guidance and instruction throughout the camp day, always encouraging a respectful and positive atmosphere so that each player experiences success while at camp. Junior Coaches must possess the ability to communicate with a variety of ages, interest, and skill levels as well as have an enthusiasm for baseball and/or softball while approaching each day and its unique challenges with energy, patience, and a sense of humor.

Reporting to the Site Leader, the After Care Lead Coach at Boston Red Sox Baseball Camps is responsible for the safety, enjoyment, and development of every ballplayer under their care. Our After Care Lead Coaches act as a Coach throughout the camp day, transitioning to their role as After Care Lead Coach following the afternoon checkout process. The After Care Lead Coach must have experience both on the baseball field and in the classroom, in order to execute the recreational and instructional baseball-related activities, games, and projects that the After Care curriculum offers. Most importantly, the After Care Lead Coach must be able to approach each day and its unique challenges with energy, patience, and a sense of humor.

Reporting to the Coordinator of Camper Experience, Programming and Staff Management, a Coach at Headfirst Professional Sports Camps - Residential Experience is responsible for the safety, enjoyment, and development of every camper under their care. Our Coaches provide their campers with guidance and instruction throughout the camp day, always encouraging a respectful and positive atmosphere so that each player experiences success while at camp. Coaches must possess the ability to communicate with a variety of age, interest, and skill levels as well as possessing enthusiasm while approaching each day and its unique challenges with energy, patience, and a sense of humor. This program will offer three weeks of Headfirst Professional Sports Camp curriculum through four of our Professional Sports Camps partners. Our residential team will travel to Chicago, Boston, and Washington D.C. over the three week period to operate this once in a lifetime residential experience. With this being a residential position, we ask that our Coaches live on site at each of our partner facilities from June 26th– July 19th. We offer room and board, transportation to each new location, meals, and competitive salary.
