Aftercare Lead Coaches act as a Coach throughout the camp day, transitioning to their Aftercare role following the afternoon checkout process. They must have experience both on the baseball field and in the classroom to lead the baseball-related activities, games, and projects that campers do after camp ends and before their departure. They must possess the ability to communicate with both families and campers, and approach each day and its unique challenges with energy, patience, and a sense of humor.
Camper ages: 5-13 years old
Supervisors: Site Leader, Camp & Safety Coordinator
Time Commitment: Available for pre-camp training and at least six (6) weeks of programming
Camp Dates:June 13, 2022 - August 19, 2022

Washington Nationals Baseball & Softball Camp is a week of baseball or softball instruction and competition within Headfirst’s custom-built curriculum. Coaches must possess the ability to communicate with a variety of ages, interests, and skill levels as well as have an enthusiasm for baseball and/or softball while approaching each day and its unique challenges with energy, patience, and a sense of humor.
Camper ages: 5-13 years old
Supervisors: Site Leader, Camp & Safety Coordinator
Time Commitment: Available for pre-camp training and at least seven (7) weeks of programming
Camp Dates: June 13, 2022 - August 19, 2022

Additional opportunities: Morning Extended Day (7:15 am arrival); Afternoon Extended Day (3:30-6:00 pm daily)
The Facilities Coordinator acts as the epicenter of successful camp operations, spending each camp day on the move to efficiently ensure all activities are set up while proactively spotting and resolving pinch points before they arise. The Facilities Coordinator’s duties are physically rigorous, and they must possess a tenacious work ethic, strong organizational skills, and a positive attitude.

Washington Nationals Baseball & Softball Camp is a week of baseball or softball instruction and competition within Headfirst’s custom-built curriculum. Junior Coaches must possess the ability to communicate with a variety of ages, interests, and skill levels as well as have an enthusiasm for baseball and/or softball while approaching each day and its unique challenges with energy, patience, and a sense of humor.
Junior Coach positions are available for individuals at least 16 years old and still in high school. If you are over 18 years old and/or a high school graduate, please apply for our Coach position.
Camper ages: 5-13 years old
